The type of information we will collect about you includes:
credit/debit card details (when online card processing facility ready)
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information, which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
At Silk Cocoon, we make every effort to ensure that all items shown are in stock.
The online seller will not be legally bound until the seller accepts the customer
order. No goods will be dispatched until payment has been received and accepted
by the seller. If we are unable to despatch your order, we will contact you by
e-mail or telephone with an expected despatch date and offer you the option of
proceeding with the order, substituting with another item of your choice, or
removing the item from your order.
Prices and Tax
Prices may be up-dated; this will not affect the price agreed with the customer
on the date of the order. The price shown for the goods excludes postage and
packing unless specifically stated. Delivery to non-European countries may result
in import duties payable on receipt of the goods. You, the customer will be liable
for these duties.
In accordance with English distance selling legislation, we will either enclose
an invoice with the goods on your order if the delivery and invoice name and
address are the same. Or if different we will mail under separate cover an invoice
to the billing address.
Cancellation and Returns
Our normal returns period is 28 days from when you receive the goods, and any returned items must be received by us within this time. For Christmas gifts, ordered from November onwards may be returned up to the end of January. Returned goods must be in the original packaging and condition in which they were received, unworn and unwashed, with all labels intact. To help us with processing, please get in touch with us in advance by phone 01865 311 505 or e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. When you return the goods, please send the return item with the following information:
1. Silk Cocoon's invoice number
Refunds or replacements will be handled within 3-30 days.
2. Your Order Number (if known)
3. Your Name & Full billing address
4. Your e-mail and telephone number
5. Reasons why you return the goods
6. Whether you require a refund or replacement goods
Faulty Goods and Returns
If you believe the goods we have supplied to you are faulty, you should return
the item to us together with a note, explaining what you believe is the problem
and together with information above listed in Cancellation and Returns. When
we receive the item, we will investigate the fault and contact you to agree the
most appropriate resolution.
Silk Cocoon will endeavour to process refunds or replacements of faulty goods
within 30 days of agreeing there is a fault.
If you have a customer complaint please either contact us by e-mail email@example.com
or telephone us on 01865 311505. If our lines are busy or temporarily unattended,
you may leave a message and we will call you back. We will acknowledge your
complaint as soon as possible and we will give you an estimate of how long
we anticipate it will take to resolve. We undertake to keep you informed throughout
the complaint process.
Please note, the colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the website
due to limitations of browser software and monitors. The seller cannot be held
responsible for any inaccuracy of colour of garments or positioning of design
images shown on garments on the website with those sent to the customer.
You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages
and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.
This indemnity is in regard to the computer and e-functions of this site, and
not the products supplied by Silk Cocoon.
The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties
to the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
None of the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
